ThermiEyes uses powerful radio frequency technology (RF), to directly target sagging skin, loose skin and wrinkles. The intense radiofrequency energy of the Thermi EYES procedure entices collagen remodeling and tightens the skin of the upper and the lower eyelids. Thermieyes is a scientifically genius modality made by Thermi Aesthetics. It emits only radio frequency energy, which travels in a controlled beam-like fashion through a special wand that touches the aimed treatment area, for example the sagging skin of lower eyelids or the sagging skin of a double chin.
After thoroughly cleansing the skin of the face, a special gel is applied to the skin, then the medical professional applies the flat metallic tip of a small wand to your skin. The wand spins in a constant circular motion, sending the radio frequency energy directly into the treatment area.
Patients should expect the procedure to take about 30 minutes.
Since the procedure is free from pain and discomfort, normally no type of anesthesia or numbing agent is needed. The treatment wand does create some heat, but many patients find the combination of the treatment gel and the heat soothing and comforting.
The Thermi Aesthetics company recommends four to six treatments for lasting, visible results, but often our patients see results after one or two sessions. Results are permanent but maintenance treatments are needed to combat aging after an initial series of treatments.
